The BDIC is located on the campus of the University of Paris X-Nanterre. The train station is Nanterre Université (15 minutes from the center of Paris) and is accessible by train with RER line A, towards St.Germain en Laye, or with the SNCF local train from the Saint-Lazare train station.
Dining options on the premises
- Small to-go café in the central part of the Library building
- Other university restaurants and cafés on campus
Conditions of registration at the BDIC
Any person with a research topic that corresponds to the BDIC’s collection may access it. Registration is free and can be completed upon presentation of an ID (make sure to bring a passport photo as well.)

Accessing the museum collections
